I used to wait for the "right" occasions to receive flowers—the birthdays and milestones—but I’ve realized that I can buy myself the damn roses. This piece celebrates the flowers earned through the hard conversations and the long, tough weeks. It is a tribute to the strength it takes to simply get through; a reminder that surviving the struggle is just as worth celebrating as the happy moments. No matter what you endure, you deserve the flowers at the end of it.
