At the edge of day, the sky bleeds gold, but his world is measured in the weight he holds. In one hand, the future he strives for in school; in the other, the daily bread to keep hunger away. Waiting in the doorway are the faces of innocence, dependent on a boy forced to grow up too soon. He didn't choose this weight, but love makes him carry it anyway.
